The estate itself comprises well kept vineyards, olive groves and is surrounded by woodland ideal for relaxing walks. There is also the possibility to visit the estate centre and its cellars to taste and purchase various brands of the estates fine wines and extra-virgin olive oil. Day trips include Florence, Siena, Pisa, Lucca or San Gimignano all under an hours drive; a country road passes by the property. The pretty village of Greve in Chianti is enticingly just a few minutes drive for restaurants, grocers, wine bars and delicatessen, as well as a charming Saturday market. The property itself is of a high standard with a sunset facing swimming pool, a gazebo for shade and relaxation with table, chairs, sun deck and deck chairs, all with panoramic views extending to the Appenines on a clear day.
The surrounding garden was designed and planted in 2003 and is a combination of Mediterranean aromatic essences and mature olive trees. The property itself is divided into two 'apartments' but is still termed a "villa for rent", each with separate access on a first floor level. The other apartment is inhabited by the friendly, welcoming caretakers, a Sri Lankan couple who remain very discreet throughout your stay but are on hand to provide information or assistance if required.
