Sitting on a stunning plateau, this house is enormous but is "mitoyenne", i.e. half is occupied by a lovely French family all year and our half is owned by us, Colin and Lynnette. The accommodation, which of course is completely self-contained, is very much our family home in France when we are not in England (just see the photos of our grandson on the wall!), and it is cosy, friendly and very French. There are in fact 5 bedrooms, 3 doubles and 2 twins, but we would usually keep our bedroom off limits and only let the others. There is good central heating AND a lovely little wood burning stove. Every window gives great mountain views, as does the balcony at the front and the raised deck at the back. We have made the decision not to have TV and internet as we know we would be using them all the time - this is our chance to get away from it all.

We are there about 3 months of the year and have only just thought about doing the occasional letting, to supplement our retirement. It is great All the year for all sorts of activities. Situated in a quiet hamlet of sheep farmers it is very close to 2 holiday 'ski/summer' resorts. These are open in winter and summer and provide winter skiing/activities and summer family activities. When they are in operation there are still far less visitors to the area than the main Alps, and outside these times, the area is very quiet. All the best, Colin & Lynnette x
