San Pedro's only bed and breakfast does it in style. The place is hugely popular and there are only a few rooms, so it's well worth your while to book as far in advance as possible.
Rooms are on the smallish side, but beautifully presented and immaculately clean and private! Each has its own entrance, bath, etc. Much more like a specialty hotel but with the detail to service like that of a traditional B&B. They're set in a two-story building surrounded by carefully tended gardens. In the late afternoon guests gather under the flower-covered pagoda here to sip drinks and swap snorkeling, diving and fishing tales. An excellent cooked breakfast is provided. Never having the same breakfast twice; one day local foods, the next sweet. Guests have access to a well-equipped kitchen at other times. There's a book exchange and the owner organizes some of the best tours on the island. The property is set back one short block from the beach, but guests have privileges at the yacht club dock, pool and bar just a 2 min walk from the rooms.
