It is very nicely suited to simply relaxing in a quiet area. Although the beaches (both rock and sand) are not far from here, and there are hill towns and a plenty to discover in the valley and nearby mountains.

Forty years ago, this beautiful old house was the set of the movie "The High Bright Sun "with Dirk Bogarde, with Puglia standing in for the movie's setting of Cyprus.
The villa is equipped with every comfort and furnished with taste and style. Garden with olive groves, flowers and self planted vegetation.

This apartment for rent is on the ground floor, tastefully furnished with antiques (up to 4 persons). The main entrance leads into the kitchen from the very large terrace which overlooks the sea.

Spacious rooms and an upper floor: The first room is a large, bright and fully equipped kitchen with a big stone fireplace and a table for 10 with marble top; the second room is a living area with very large open mezzanine, screened from view but no door separating, with the double bed and other furniture: a really cosy corner to have a rest. Two comfortable single sofa-beds in the same living area complete the sleeping possibilities; wide bath with shower and window.

Music throughout the apartment. You can enjoy your "al fresco" meals or get a tan in a separate green sitting area close to the house, laying on the comfortable wooden sunbeds. All around, 2 enclosed hectars of olive groves.
