Welcome to Montreal most affordable downtown b&b. We have a large victorian house probably transform into a rooming house by the Catholic Church at the end of 19 century and probably run as a rooming house until we transform it into a b&b in 2000. The building is well lay-out for such an operation, it insure pricacy and calm. The place is usually pretty full all the time with people from all around the globe. At any given time a majority of the clientele is a repeat one, very easy to meet and talk with interesting people. Did we mention that the greatest advantage of this b&b is location, no. Well we are 100 feet from bus stop (15 westbound on de maisonneuve), 200 feet from the main metro(subway)station, 300 feet from bus terminal, higway and bridges are a few traffic lights away. The latin quarter and the village are 5 minutes walk, le plateau and the old city 10 minutes walk. We offer high speed internet either wi-fi or in the internet lounge: 2 stations with printer. We have 7 rooms with either 1 queen size bed or 2 double beds with ensuite bathroom, 2 rooms with queen size bed with private bathroom in hallway and 1 apartment with 3 bedrooms. Breakfast is continental all the time, the buffet is available from 8 to 11 am, we also serve a dish of egg in summer time on our marvelous 400 sf sunny terrasse. What else to add ? not much but we like to think that anywhere else in Montreal you will pay more or you will get less!
