'Tranquility Is Bliss' has 2 bedroom and 2 1/2 bathrooms. It is pet friendly and dogs are allowed on the beach. Overlooking a man made stocked pond right at a finger going out into it. Tranquility is a end unit with a window seat, perfect to sit and read. Each bedroom has a balcony and it's own bathroom. The master bathroom has double sinks and a separate tub and shower. All 3 balconies/deck have furniture on them. The beds are 1 queen, 2 twin and a queen sleeper couch. It is gulf view and about 100 yards to the beach. It has a full kitchen that is well supplied with everything you will need to cook. The main floor is all tile. Underneath the unit is enough room to park 2 cars or one car and one boat. There is a private enclosed outside shower to rinse off in I provide a lot of amenities like a TV with a DVD player in each bedroom, hair dryer in each bathroom, beach chairs, toys, floats and much more. If you have never been to Barrier Dunes, you are in for a real treat.
Barrier Dunes is a gated community with boardwalks connecting you to the beach and other areas. Barrier Dunes is situated right out side the gates of St. Joe's State Park (2500acres) which has boat ramps. It is tucked peacefully away from crowded highways. There are no high rise on Cape San Blas, giving you uncrowded beaches and no traffic jams. Dr. Beach chose it as the #1 beach in the United States in 2002. Cape San Blas is an undiscovered gem on the forgotten coast of 'Old Florida'. I have taken a hour walk in both directions of Barrier Dunes and saw only 4 people. Dogs are allowed on the beach. Cape San Blas is 20 miles long and at it's widest point it is a mile across. The Gulf of Mexico is on one side and St. Joe Bay with it's tranquil waters on the other of Cape San Blas. There are 2 pools(one is beachside), 2 lighted tennis courts, children's playground, clubhouse, pet stations and 3 man made stocked ponds. There is an area to wash and park your boat in Barrier Dunes.
