Many feel that the Silver Lake Sand Dunes is the most beautiful spot in Michigan and then some. Silver Lake is a 2 miles long lake. A channel runs 1 mile from Silver lake to Lake Michigan. My cottage for rent is on the Silver Lake channel. A canoe and rowboat is included to access the dunes. The cottage is a modest comfortable 750 Sq footer. New Kitchen in 2007, Deck overlooking the water and State Forest. Silver lake is located 3 hours North of Chicago , 75 minutes from Grand Rapids MI between Muskegon and Ludington. Rates from $400-$700 a week.
