Our cottage is located on top of a mountain in Miller's Creek which is just outside of Wilkesboro, North Carolina,USA. The mountain views from the 16 foot x 30 foot deck on the rear of the house are breathtaking. You can sit in the beautiful new Adirondack furniture on the deck and watch the best mountain sunsets you will ever see, or just take in the mountain vistas.

You will be within a day trip of almost anything you would want to see or do in Western North Carolina. There are five ski slopes within 30 to 45 minutes away. Tour the Blue Ridge Parkway, which is only minutes away for crafts, restaurants, hiking, cascading waterfalls and the most beautiful scenic overlooks you will ever see. You would only be minutes away from the W. Kerr Scott Dam/Reservoir, a 1500 acre lake state recreation area, with fishing, hiking, biking and boating. Boone, Grandfather's Mountain, Blowing Rock and the Stone Mountain State Park, which has hiking, fishing, biking, camping, and mountain climbing, are only 30 to 45 minutes away.

Our cottage is located on four and a half acres of beautiful mountain property. It has beautifully appointed furnishings. It is a two story with the master bedroom and bath on the first floor and two bedrooms and a bath on the second floor. At any given time you might see wild deer and turkey on the property.

Our vacation home can be your private hideaway. Gather around the cozy fireplace while enjoying the beautiful views and making memories with your family and friends. The spring, summer, and fall are all good times to visit the mountains to see the wildflowers, wildlife, the beautiful fall colors, and the historical sites of some of the earliest settlers in this country.

We just recently added a beautiful 12'x24'- 2 stall horse stable. So, if you enjoy horse back riding in the mountains bring your horses and keep them on site with you. There are some great trails for horse back riding.
