The Bungalow is located at the Gateway to the Hollywood Hills and the Hollywood Sign. We are near all major attractions, venues, and freeways. The Bungalow is a romantic escape for two, and can accommodate 4-5 guests in comfort. 6 guests may be possible, please ask. *Please Note* Our Availability Calendar is not connected. We're located 2 city blocks from Hollywood Blvd, home of the "Walk of Fame" and 3 blocks to Sunset Blvd, home of the Sunset Strip. We're a 5-10 minute stroll to the Hollywood Bowl, as well as the Hollywood & Highland complex, where you'll find the Kodak Theater, home of the Academy Awards, and Grauman's Chinese Theater, with footprints of your favorite Stars. We're 5 minutes from Universal Studios and City Walk, and equally close to most of the major TV and Film Studios, where you can join the audience and watch tapings of your favorite shows.
Our home offers a full kitchen, w/all appliances, china and cutlery, as well as a BBQ grill out back! You'll find comfortable linens, shiny hardwood floors, and most of the original fixtures from 1918. We've just added the fun stuff! Like plasma TV's, Wireless DSL, and a fireplace controled by remote. According to local film historians, our little Bungalow was one of 4 commissioned in 1918 by Cecil B DeMille to provide location housing for some of Hollywood's early Royalty. Many of the Silent Film Stars of the 1920's like Charlie Chaplin, Richard Dix, Clara Bow, and Dorothy Gish were once temporary guests of this darling little home.
