You can see turtles feeding below the panoramic windows and surfers in the bay. Shangrila is your own private mini resort.
We have just completed remodeling the kitchen and bathrooms on the 2nd floor and the bathroom in the studio unit. The Italian tile and granite countertops look fantastic. We will continue with our upgrades as the schedule permits. Our returning guests always comment about how they loved the layout of the house with separate floors. You can have togetherness when you want it and privacy when you need it. The separate floors with two distinct living areas will be perfect for your two families. There are two kitchens and two living rooms.
The sleeping arrangements are: 3rd Floor Penthouse Suite has King Bed in Master Bedroom with private en suite bathroom. The waves lull you to sleep on all floors. The 2nd bedroom has a Queen Bed and will have their own private use of the guest bath. There is a Queen Sofa Bed in the living room with spectacular views. 2nd Floor Orchid Suite has King Bed in Master Bedroom with private en suite bathroom. The 2nd bedroom has a Queen Bed and uses guest bath. There is also a Queen Sofa Bed in the living room with spectacular views out the giant picture postcard redwood windows that pull all the way back. 1st Floor Ocean Studio is complete with a Queen bed with en suite bathroom and a kitchenette with Fridge, Microwave and Coffee Maker. The ocean is just feet from your bedroom. Spectacular ocean views through the sliding doors from the Queen Bed.
The house is located 3 miles south of Kailua Kona Town and 11 miles south of Kona Airport. It is a nice walk to town from the house, especially in the early mornings.
