Walking Around Cambria
Cambria, California has been described as a hidden treasure located on the Central California coast, just south of famed San Simeon State Park. We made our visit a few months ago and couldn't have been happier with our choice. A town for multiple adventures to be explored and experienced by vacationers of all ages with varying interests, Cambria was a great travel destination for us.
Cambria has the distinction of being the location to the renowned Hearst Castle, now a state historic landmark, built by the powerful newspaper magnate William Randolph Hearst. This was a fascinating site for us to visit and see how one of our country’s most influential men in history designed this to pay homage to himself and his newspaper dynasty. Cambria also boasts some world famous shopping and dining areas in its East and West Villages, and magnificent pebble covered beaches in the Moonstone Drive and Moonstone Beach area. All made for fascinating travel and visiting, and provided us with a one of a kind shopping, dining, and relaxation experience. There were also numerous wineries for us to who enjoy the wine tasting experience, as this is close to the heart of California’s famous Wine Country. Here in Cambria, we enjoyed all of the local tastes and flavors, while experiencing some of the finest wines in the world. There are parks for picnics, shores for relaxing, and restaurants to melt away your days. All of this and more can be had when you make your next travel destination Cambria, California.
