23 September 2007: Visiting Santa Cruz

23 September 2007, Santa Cruz, CA, United States

Visiting Santa Cruz
There was so much to see and do when we visited the town of Santa Cruz, California. Located just an hour south of San Francisco, there was something magical about Santa Cruz that attracts us year after year. It is a destination not to be missed. With the beauty of the great outdoors right at our footsteps, Santa Cruz provided opportunities for those who enjoy outdoor gaming and adventure. From surfing and sailing to hiking and biking, Santa Cruz had a wealth of opportunities for us to appreciate her natural beauty.

For the young at heart, consider visiting the Boardwalk at Santa Cruz, California’s oldest amusement park. And for those who may not like a Ferris wheel, the Santa Cruz Wharf is a fantastic site to see. Here, we did some prime mammal watching, fishing, and enjoying the water sports that make Santa Cruz such an ideal travel destination.

There are also a number of cultural attractions in the Santa Cruz area to help round out our vacation. Local libraries, museums, parks, and festivals all added to the flavor of that which is Santa Cruz, and visits to any of these enhanced our vacation.

Visit Santa Cruz and see what all you have been missing. You are sure to want to return time and time again.
