About Gulf Coast

It's a real treat for nature buffs both of the wild and serene kind. The Gulf Coast of Alabama has bucketfuls of excitement and dreams-to-be-fulfilled for vacationers of every kind. You can choose to sunbath on any of the Gulf Coast beaches, or shake a leg and invoke the sports star in you, because you've got a wide range of activities from swimming, fishing and water skiing to parasailing and hiking at the Gulf Coast!

Animal lovers won't be disappointed either, because the Gulf State Park at Gulf Coast is a haven for seagulls and seashells. The Gulf State Park is a white sand beach of 2.5 miles which has, apart from its seagull habitation, a golf course and a fishing pier. Speaking of beautiful dunes that blend with the landscape, the Kiva Dunes true links golf course has a topography that matches that of the surrounding area of Gulf Coast, fitting the landscape in every way possible to the extent of the trees, hazards, greens and mounds. This Gulf Coast golf course was designed by Jim Edgemon and former PGA Tour player and U.S. Open Champion Jerry Pate.

Museums rock the Alabama Gulf Coast. The historic Mobile area is also a vacation hot spot. Perdido Point Public Beach in Orange Beach is great if you're interested to capture the sunsets of Gulf Coast. The beach has a boardwalk exclusively for the purpose. Gulf Coast's Adventure Island at Orange Beach is filled with facilities such as bumper boats, simulators, mini-golf, a 100 arcade games and kiddie go-kart tracks. Another attraction is the nightly erupting Volcano!

The waters of Mobile Bay and the Gulf of Mexico at Gulf Coast also beckon every serious angler. Inshore and offshore saltwater fishing for blue marlin, yellow fin tuna, amberjack, cobia, red snapper, and other delicacies is an offer. The Gulf Coast – it's a place for the serious traveler, who'd like to escape from the mad rush the world offers as well as have some serious fun while escaping from it all.
