Vacation Rentals In Las Vegas
About Vacation Rentals in Las Vegas Las Vegas is the ideal starting point for many memorable adventures. From nearly a dozen State and National Parks in Nevada alone - the Lake Tahoe Area included - to hundreds of fun, educational, entertaining and fascinating side trips for the whole family, you might want to consider adding an extra day or two to your vacation in Las Vegas just to see some of the sights!
The commercial lifeblood of Las Vegas is the Strip, a three-and-a-half mile stretch of South Las Vegas Boulevard, which plays host to many of the city's most popular hotels and casinos. The Las Vegas Monorail, which runs from MGM Grand Station to Sahara Station in less than 14 minutes, can take vacationers to the Strip. From the Tomb and Museum of King Tut, to the Adventure Dome Themepark or the Star Trek Experience (at Las Vegas Hilton Hotel and Casino), each stop for this train is a wealth of sight-seeing opportunities. The Fremont Street Experience in downtown Las Vegas encapsulates the true Vegas experience. It’s a huge, flashy five block pedestrian mall. A trip to the 50-storey replica of the Eiffel Tower will delight thrill seekers. The Stratosphere Tower's observation deck can offer amazing views of the cityscape. If you need a break from the casinos and bright lights, then head for Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, Mt. Charleston or, for non-gamblers, the quaint little town of Boulder City. This, by the way, is the only town in Nevada where gambling is illegal! Guggenheim Hermitage Museum in Las Vegas features traveling art exhibits from some of the most renowned artists in the world. Lied Discovery Children's Museum Interactive, hands-on exhibits give children a fun learning experience. |
