About New Hampshire

New Hampshire is one of the New England states, bordered by the states of Maine, Massachusetts, and Vermont and the Atlantic Ocean, that lies to the southeast. Concord is the capital of New Hampshire. Vacationers in the state can visit regions like White Mountains and Merrimack Valley that feature numerous outdoor activities. Campton, New Hampshire, offers outdoor activities like hiking, fishing, golf, whitewater rafting, mountain biking, and skiing. Campton is located in the Waterville Valley area of the White Mountains region.  The Seacoast Region of the state has some popular beaches like Hampton Seashell State Park, Wallis Sands State Beach, and Rye Beach.

The Merrimack Valley Region of New Hampshire is centered on the Merrimack River.  The Canobie Lake Park is located in the area and the park is known for its flower gardens, promenades and rides that include roller coasters, and log flume. The Franconia Notch State Park is another tourist attraction located at North Conway, New Hampshire. This 6500 acre park offers sunbathing, fishing, canoeing, and paddle boating. The Attitash Bear Peak in the North Conway Area has 70 trails spread out over 280 skiable acres. Vacationers in the area also frequent the Wildcat Mountain Ski Resort, with over 225 skiable acres.
