About Ludlow / Okemo Mountain Area

Ludlow is now best known for the Okemo ski resort that has shaped its economy and landscape. Ludlow, with its lakes, the Okemo Valley Golf Club and the Okemo State Forest, is an all-season vacation destination. Attractions in and around Ludlow include Crowley Cheese Factory, the Fletcher Farm Craft School, which offers classes summer classes in oil painting, stained glass, wood carving, and the Black River Academy Historical Museum.

Jackson Gore Ski Area, Ludlow is a new addition to the Okemo mountain area featuring trails reminiscent of classic New England with sweeping turns and gently curves. But Ludlow and Okemo mean much more than just winter. Enjoy a unique and memorable journey into the past with a short ride up Route 100 to Plymouth to visit the homestead of President Calvin Coolidge. Visit other nearby historical sites and museums like Black River Academy in Ludlow, Eureka Schoolhouse in Springfield, Constitution House in Windsor, and Billings Farm and Museum in Woodstock.

Okemo Valley Golf Club, an 18-hole championship course and an 18-acre Golf Learning Center, rated #1 in New England, just two miles away from Ludlow. Gold enthusiasts may also try nearby courses such as Crown Point CC, Springfield; Equinox CC, Manchester; Green Mountain National Golf Club and Killington Golf Club.
